About me
My name is Tomek Markiewski and I am addicted to bikes. My bike adventure started in 2008 with MTB Marathons, although I feel like I have been cycling ever since I was born. My first serious machine was an XC bike with an air fork, which allowed me to join the equally serious mtb team called KSPO. The following years meant liters of sweat poured out and biten handlebars in the biggest series of mountain marathons.
Getting into the world of bikes, I was also drawn to their service. I wanted my bike to run perfectly, so I worked out its secrets. I planned and implemented my own improvements. In the meantime, I started repairing the bikes for my friends and acquaintances.
The more time I spent training and competing , the more bicycle knowledge I gained. That ultimately drew me to the craft of maintaining the amazing machine known as the bicycle.
Unfortunately, there aren’t enough hours in the day. On the other hand, working full-time for a corporation bothered me heavily. It did not bring satisfaction and development, unlike the world of bicycles.
In 2019, I put everything on one card. I quit my job in the pharmaceutical industry to focus solely on bicycles and I found work in a bicycle shop. I have been evolving ever since. I have gained thorough knowledge every kind of bike, starting from road bikes to powerful enduro machines. I was trained by specialists from 33Workshop in Wroclaw and Shimano Polska in Poznan.
However, this is not the end of the road. The plan is to help you and your bike at alekorba.pl and it is now coming to life!
Thanks to my versatility, experience and ability to solve difficult service problems, your bike will regain its efficiency. By entrusting me with your equipment for repair, you will be able to enjoy a trouble-free ride on your bike.

Workshop
I have a fully equipped workshop in which I use professional tools of recognized brands: ParkTool, Unior, PRO, Bitul, SuperB. I will take care of every detail in your bike, whether you ride roadbike or enduro.
I perform a wide range of repairs – from building and centering wheels to suspension bearings change and forks/shocks maintenance.
For bearings and general applications I use Motorex and Finish Line greases. I fill the hydraulic systems with Shimano oil, DOT 5.1 Motorex oil, Royal Blood in the case of Magura. For forks and shocks I use FOX and Motorex oils, SRAM grease. I use Enduro bearings for suspension in full-suspenion bikes, and EZO or Enduro bearings for other applications (i.e. wheel hubs).
I perform diagnostics and configuration of Shimano STEPS electric motors as well as Di2, AXS systems.
Do you have a problem with your bike, repeated faults, are you planning upgrades or custom solutions? Or maybe you want to build a bike from scratch? Come or write – I’ll help you for sure!
